Dear Friends of Say Yes Buffalo,
We are still working hard to bridge the technological divide so many of our scholars face while entering postsecondary education in remote and hybrid learning formats.
In previous years, the community's response has raised nearly $200,000 and equipped over 500 students with the technology they need to be successful. AMAZING!
While we hope to be turning the page on this pandemic, it is all but certain that colleges and institutions will expect some level of mandatory digital participation and we are asking you to help us continue this critical support for our scholars.
The demand for technology and the financial shortfall many scholars experience in meeting that demand existed long before Covid-19, but the pandemic has presented us an opportunity to serve our community in a more comprehensive fashion.
The needs of our scholars are significant: 50% of our Say Yes scholars have a family income below $25,000, and 70% are below $50,000. A postsecondary degree puts our young people on a path to employment and a brighter future. Without the proper technology, our students will face yet another barrier to success.

With the graduation rate of Buffalo Public High Schools hitting a high water mark of 76% last year (up from 49% in 2012 and 65% in 2018), we have many more graduates looking to make good on the promise of postsecondary education and our mission to remove barriers to education attainment demands that we keep pushing the needle to get our scholars the tech they need!
We hope you will consider being a sponsor for the 2022 Say Yes Buffalo Technology Campaign. All sponsorships will cover laptops for Say Yes scholars plus a match to our scholarship endowment. If you are able to help us with this campaign click here, or mail a donation via check, made out to “Say Yes Buffalo Scholarship” with Say Yes Buffalo Technology Campaign indicated in memo line to: Say Yes Buffalo, 712 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14202.
